Maybe you’re in a dead-end job. You hate monday mornings when it’s time to get out of bed and go to work. It might been going on for long while. You want to get off that job, but you done nothing about it.
Or even worse you hate the job and you got into an addiction. You come to that point in your life when you feel completely lost. You want to change but you have no idea what to do. It does happen to many people, for different reasons.
Have you ever been in a cross road with many turns and you’re in a deep dilemma where to go or what turn to take? That’s how everyday feels. It’s tough isn’t it?
Or maybe you been working hard many years, you bought a home, a car, you found love. You created your small world. But one night you found yourself thinking, am I really happy with my life. If the answer is No you keep thinking of them many wasted years and you seek a major change of direction in your life.
Change is tough. You keep thinking how do I do this. You fear you’ll fail. Fear of losing the comfort of life you have. Fear fills your mind.
1. Clear your vision.
You can’t get into a boat not knowing where you heading. First ask yourself some simple questions. What makes you happy? Where do you want to go? Have you got some purpose in your life? What are your life purpose? After answering all them question find out what route you want to follow? There is always a problem with us and we never seem to want to talk about it. Is the need of money. That most the time send us not in the direction we want to go, but the wrong way round.. I would say we have to consider that, but always first you must seek and go in the direction that feel you with joy and laughter and makes you happy.
2. Change the way you think.
Most the time we feel there we need to make a great change in our life, but we take no action. It’s a common reason: the way we think. Negative thinking stops us. We doubt ourselves, we have so much fear. One thing we need to know is: what about so many people who did it before us, they changed their lives? They were just like us, like all humans. Don’t give in to negative thinking. So change the way you think. That is crucial if you want to gain control and change the direction in your life.
3. Take action.
Change only happens if we take action. Start with no fear. Start with small steps. Tell yourself if you fail is not the end of the world. Trust your instinct. Work hard towards change. If you fail at least you tryied. You will come out stronger and wiser. You know next time you need to start from another point.
4. Feel happier.
How is your daily routine now? Do you feel alive and full of energy? Now you know you are chasing a way to be happy. Maybe you haven’t achieved much as yet, but it’s early days. As long as you enjoy doing what you do and also make your living. It’s ok to be busy, but you must have a genuine smile in your face.
5. Focus in your values.
The values are the esence of who we are and who we want to be. Everyone has it’s own values. So are you adding more value in your own self. It’s what give us the meaning of life and make us happy.
6. Reflect along the way.
As we get cought on working in this life changing direction, take a moment and reflect on it. Time passes quickly in our lives and we grow and change. So does the vision of life we want to live. You’re always allowed to change your mind about the direction you want to take in your life.
