10 Steps To Improve Your Self Esteem

It happen sometimes. You feel your just in a cross road with no idea where to go or what to do. Life get overwhelmed. But is it occurring once too many.

Signs of low self-esteem are:

  • You have so much negativity in yourself.
  • You feel worthlesss
  • You dont see any values in yourself.
  • You ignore what you achieved.
  • Comparing yourself with others.
  • Critical selftalk.

But what causes the low self-esteem?

  • Neglect
  • Abuse
  • Loneliness
  • Unemployment
  • Relationship break down.
  • Feeling your all different and odd.

Sometimes is hard to find the cause of low self esteem. It could be something from childhood, like you been bullied or just raised in a family when been constantly criticized.

Self-esteem is the way we feel about ourselves. Feeling good about yourself, confident means we’re satisfied and you accept yourself for who you are.

1. Accept your low self-esteem.

First you must accept that your self-esteem is low. It is that your beliefs has become facts in your head, and you think that is your identity. Your inner voice is always so critical, nagging, persistent. It could be about your weight, or your apparance or about a negative event that you experienced.

2. Turn negatives talking in to positive self-talking.

You have build a negative image about yourself. Negative thoughts all the time make you believe you’re a failure. But how true is that? You know even people who think they are great, they not perfect either. You have to change the way you see yourself. You not bad. Change your negative thoughts in to positive ones.

3. Stop comparing yourself with others.

Why do you compare yourself with others. That is not the way to measure yourself. You always come short that way. Just think about what your good at. Everyone is better than others at something. Think about your strengths.

4. Exercise

The benefits of exercise are endless. Pick some form of exercise you like. It wont be just a distraction to your thoughts. Exercise is good for your body and good for you mind too.

5. Set goals, dont aim too high.

We all like to do well. Everyone want to make something of themselves. Nothing wrong with that. But dont aim to high, we never can achieve perfection.

6. Forgive yourself.

Humans make mistakes, expeience failures, grow. You’re not any different. Dont go to harsh on yourself. Forgive yourself and move on to next step.

7. Focus on what you can change.

Sometimes you keep thinking and thinking about something that is out of your control. Dont waste time and energy on that. There is no point. Think about things you can change. Focus, take action.

8. Spend more time with friends and family.

Social life can improve your self-esteem. Spend more time with good friends or with your family.

9. Follow your passion.

Doing what you enjoy brings out the best of you. Keep your passion alive. Smile, laugh be happy.

10. Enjoy life.

Negative thoughts affects the quality of life we live. Positive thinking tends to make us happy. Be positive. Remember everyone has ups and downs in life. Just live  everyday as it comes. Enjoy.
